There are many Bluetooth modules on the market, only a few are programmable bluetooth modules. Since our goal is to make communication easy and freely, we developed a Bluetooth 5.1 programmable bluetooth module to fullfill your need!
For most of the bluetooth modules, you can only use its default firmware, and when you need to do more customizations, you would expect to write your own firmware! In this case, you could try the FSC-BT618!
Before talking about the BT618, we'd like to introduce you the TI CC2642R chipset.
The CC2642R is a wireless Bluetooth Low Energy Bluetooth 5.1 chipset. It is a member of the SimpleLink™ MCU platform for cost-effective, ultra-low power, 2.4GHz and sub-1GHz RF devices. Very low active RF and microcontroller (MCU) current and sleep currents below 1µA and parity-protected RAM retention of up to 80KB provide excellent battery life and support energy harvesting on small coin cells Long-running work in the application.
Guess what? The BT618 programmable bluetooth module is built with TI CC2642R! It supports GAP, ATT/GATT, SMP, L2CAP profiles. It integrates the Baseband controller in a small package (Integrated chip antenna), so the designers can have better flexibilities for the product shapes. Here is some information about this product:
