2. Advantages and Disadvantages of the Two Models

            Over WiFi Model

• • The nodes in this model interact directly with the router, making it easier to connect to the cloud. However, this model places higher demands on the router's capacity (as shown in Diagram 1).

• • In this model, the node requires a specific Thread-to-WiFi gateway to connect to the cloud. The gateway interacts with the router to enable cloud connectivity (as shown in Diagram 2).

3. Matter Certification Overview

1. To obtain Matter certification, the product must first become a Matter member, with a membership fee of $7,000.
2. After becoming a member, the company can apply for product certification for specific product categories, with a certification fee of $2,500.
   • Note: As a module manufacturer, Feasycom's modules can pass relevant product category certifications, but this only proves that the modules can be certified. The end-user's complete product still needs to undergo relevant full product certification, with the same certification cost of $2,500.

4. Module License Fees

1. To regulate and manage the manufactured node devices, the Matter Alliance requires each device to have a unique ID, allowing traceability of device information.
2. The unique ID used for traceability can be programmed by a third-party manufacturer with programming capabilities. The cost is around a few cents per unit. Alternatively, companies can set up their own server and programming environment to burn the IDs themselves, with an estimated cost of $100,000. Annual audits are required for the servers and programming environment.

1. Compatibility with ecosystems of leading companies such as Google, Amazon, and Apple.
2. Matter-certified products can interconnect and communicate seamlessly.
