Recently, the social beacon is very popular, many people want to use it to keep a safe social distance. And currently, Feasycom has a social beacon FSC-BP110, which is a waterproof wristband social Bluetooth Beacon, precisely sensing when other wearers come within 2.5 meters and alerting the user with visual blue light and vibration, the social distance can be set by mobile app. How to program the social Beacon via mobile app?
- Using Method
Turn ON: Automatically turn on after charging is activated; stop charging; automatically turn on when fully charged
Turn OFF: automatically turn off during low battery or charging.
Two Beacons will automatically vibrate and alarm within 2.5 meters.

Use nRF Connect app to connect to the beacon, after getting connected, Click button 1 (on the right of Battery Level in the Battery Service) to read the battery level, as shown in Figure 1.

As shown in Figure 2, use nRF Connect app to connect to the beacon, after getting connected, Click button 1 (on the right of 9e36fff1-06e0-421e-a4ab-6b9fa677f1cd Characteristic in the 9e36fff0-06e0-421e-a4ab-6b9fa677f1cd Service) to read the Alarm distance threshold, if the value is B0, it can be converted to -80db, click button 2 to modify the value, eg: AB means -85db

The Beacon will monitor devices with the same alarm ID. As shown in Figure 4, after getting connected by nRF Connect app, Click button 1 (on the right of 9e36fff3-06e0-421e-a4ab-6b9fa677f1cd Characteristic in the 9e36fff0-06e0-421e-a4ab-6b9fa677f1cd Service) to read the alarm record. When the social bracelet alarms, the address of the remote device and the signal strength at the time of the alarm will be obtained in the Value field.
- How to turn off the beacon via the mobile app
There is no button on the FSC-BP110 Beacon. If you don’t want to use it, you can turn off the device through nRF Connect app. As shown in Figure 5, after getting connected by nRF Connect app, Click button 1 (on the right of 9e36fff1-06e0-421e-a4ab-6b9fa677f1cd Characteristic in the 9e36fff0-06e0-421e-a4ab-6b9fa677f1cd Service) and write 7A to turn off the beacon. After turning off, it can be activated by charging.
